Deb is our visiting artist. She works with all age groups at Learning Brooke, allowing children full control over their medium; their dirt and water, their hands to touch and squeeze and crush and pat and punch, to impress, to construct and to preserve. Deb explains,
“Clay is resilient, delightfully wet and soft to the touch; as it air dries it hardens and can be pounded into dust, or ignited molten into permanent hardness, our chance at immortality…to be remembered by generations that follow us, or treasured by a proud parent for a whole life.”
