In her capacity as Atelierista, Sarah Connor engages both children and teachers to heighten the processes of thinking, planning, and creating within a emergent curriculum. This daily opportunity to utilize and enhance her practical knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach is equally beneficial to our school.
First introduced to the Reggio Emilia approach in her undergraduate work at Colby-Sawyer College, Sarah began her teaching career as a preschool teacher for a Head Start program in Massachusetts. Her Masters Degree from Lesley University in Child Development included an Atelierista workshop in the town of Reggio Emilia itself.
