In her capacity as Atelierista, Sarah Connor engages both children and teachers to heighten the processes of thinking across various modes of expression. This daily opportunity to utilize and enhance her practical knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach is equally beneficial to our school.
First introduced to the Reggio Emilia approach in her undergraduate work at Colby-Sawyer College, Sarah began her teaching career as a preschool teacher for a Head Start program in Massachusetts. Her current Masters work at Lesley University has included an Atelierista workshop in the town of Reggio Emilia itself.
